andsome
Every piece of apparatus that I have plugged a headset into has automatically sent sound to the headset only. I admit that I have never tried it on a computer. Have I misunderstood? It looks to me as though for some reason you want the speakers and the headset on at the same time. :D
-pops-
I have a Plantronics CS50 wireless USB mike/headphone system (similar, I think). It wanted to be the main audio device when I installed it (as yours is doing). This is what I suggest:Go to Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio devices -> click on the Audio tab and select what you want to be the default devices. Don't forget to click "Apply" before closing.
schneidz
thx, i'll try it and let you know how it works.the reason why i want to do this is so that on counterstrike i would like to talk to my squad but i would like to still hear the games sound thru my stereo's speakers.
