SlowCoder
There is a new proxy tool that can be run from a memory stick (not installed), that circumvents content management tools and firewalls. It edits the proxy configuration of IE while it's on. I won't name the product, as I don't want to advertise it.Is there a way to change the permissions to a specific registry key through GPO? I want to make the proxy settings read-only for specific users.

SlowCoder
Any help here? :DGosh, I wish it were that simple. Problem is, the proxy program in question changes the keys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, which isn't available at the time Computer GPOs are applied. I think we need to be able to change the permissions when the User GPO is applied.Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree?
