Godhelm
If I enter an incorrect domain as part of a URL (e.g. http://www.fghdsfghdsfghdsfgh.com) instead of a "not found" type of error, I am redirected to a Google Image Search with that URL as the search term. I find this annoying! Any ideas of how I can stop this? Thanks.
Dencandy
Check your default home pages by clicking on the little down arrow next to the little house on the command bar. Experiment with different home pages to see which one re-directs you in the least annoying way. Apart from that, try to type more accurately!! WindowsProblemDNS
Did you ever find an answer to this? My computer is doing the same thing. And incidentally, simply being more careful typing (as suggesed elsewhere in the thread) isn't enough--I suspect that whatever is redirecting me to the Google Image Search is also causing DNS errors when I type in an address correctly, which is happening more and more often as time passes. A virus perhaps? If I enter an incorrect domain as part of a URL (e.g. http://www.fghdsfghdsfghdsfgh.com) instead of a "not found" type of error, I am redirected to a Google Image Search with that URL as the search term.
