Sorry, but I don't understand the problem.

Are you trying to copy the words (lyrics) of a song into a doc file

or

Are you trying to copy the list of song titles from a CD or other source into a doc file

or

Are you trying to embed an audio file into a doc file - to provide a link you can click on - to play the music

or

Something else.

Just an afterthought. I just played a CD using MS media Player. The list of song titles appears on the screen but it is not possible to copy and paste them.

One way round this would be to use a screen capture programme like Snag It or Hoversnap to capture just the titles - save the file - then use an OCR programme to convert the file to text. A bit long winded but it would do the job.

Hopefully someone will come up with a better idea.

From where are you getting the list - if it appears on your computer screen can you not highlight it - then copy and paste into Word.

im using nero to burn a cd. the tracks arent actually on the cd yet. someone told me that when i drag the tracks into the nero burning window, before i click on burn, i can highlight the list of tracks and paste to word. when i try that, word just freezes and says its not responding
