ramsrock Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 Hope someone can help me with this. My backup computer has windows ME on it,,, it is a Gateway . I recently got it back from loaning it out and it will not go to any websites unless I type in the actual IP address NUMBERS. Typing www.google.com does nothing but if I type in the IP address number for google then it goes right there . The people I loaned it to are not computer savy and wouldnt know what they did if they did do something to it. THanks in advance if someone has some thoughts on this.
