MacOSXrocksToo Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 Hello, I have a Dell Dimension 8200, as you can see in my signature, and it has PC800-40, non-ecc, Samsung RAMBUS RDRAM, 400MHz 184 Pin, and the part number is MR16R 1624AF0-CM8, would the memory listed below work in my system even though my RAM is 400MHz, and the one listed below is 800MHz? -pops- Posted February 12, 2008 Report Share Posted February 12, 2008 I agree with Irene's suggestion.Be aware that Dell have a tendency to use out of the ordinary or non standard components in their machines and often, an item "off the shelf" may not be compatible.
