ThatOneGuy69
I have a lap top and i downgraded it from vista to xp and i can't find the drivers for the sound. I have a hp pavilion dv9500 lap top and i can't find the driver any where. If any one out there could give me a link to somewhere where i can find it that would be extremely appreciated. Thanks for your time.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Most audio drivers are already known to Windows XP; did you try to find it using 'Add Hardware'?If Windows XP cannot find it, you will have to look for it by specifying the exact audio controller you have in your laptop. Do you have it listed somewhere in your specs? If not, check if SIW can find and list it.
andsome
Well done Pat, I had an older version of SIW. I have now downloaded this later version. :D
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
P.S. open Device Manager, and check if you can see your audio device in there. Does it have a yellow exclamation mark on it?
