Gandalph
This is the one Pat, copied details from the Windows Update site.Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP (KB938127)Date last published: 8/14/2007Typical download size: 213 KB A security issue has been identified in the way Vector Markup Language (VML) is handled that could allow an attacker to compromise a computer running Microsoft Windows and gain control over it. You can help protect your computer by installing this update from Microsoft. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. I've hidden it now just to get rid of it. I'm sure I can live without it. :D

Can you try to download it manually, then install it from that download? Make sure you select the correct version of IE and Windows from this page http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...n/ms07-050.mspx

Downloaded and installed with no problem. Which still leaves me wondering why it wouldn't download from the update site.
