Works 7.0

Recommended Posts

I have recently had Windows re-installed on my computer and am busy reloading my applications. When I try to install Works 7.0 I get the message "Setup is unable to find the works services file" and the install is stopped. I have two copies of Works 7.0 (the other is my son's) and they both do the same. I seem to have all the software on my PC but when I try to open anything I get the message "Cannot display the End User Licence Agreement which......etc".

Having tried to install several times from both CD I have never been presented with a User Agreement to acknowledge. I do have the Product Keys for both discs. Can anyone tell me what is going wrong and how I progress with this. Thank you.

Have you activated your new install with Microsoft? You have 30 days to do this from the installation time and after that the operability of the system is greatly reduced.

Thanks Pops. The system was only repaired yesterday and I tried to make a note of everything that was happening. I beleive Windows XP was registered. I have received the 80 or so updates that go back to Service Pack 2 so I guess Microsoft have recognised me.
