hey people

my first post, so i hope this is in the correct section

i have a windows 2003 active directory which works great with dhcp, dns etc

i set a group policy in the mmc for the domain, but all of those restrictions have also taken effect on the server which is not good

i can no longer access the group policy or anything

what can i do to get all of my stuff back, will a system restore keep my users as they are?

and also, how can i set a policy on the clients but not the server

cheers

will a system restore to jus before the GPOE change help me here?

I wouldn't know for sure, TheXero, but if you create a new restore point before you do it, you have nothing to lose.

You can always go back. :D

Probably a dumb question, but you don't have a backup of your system anywhere else, do you?

Many of us on the forum use Acronis - see the link at the top of the page.
