ZippyDSMlee
So links and desktop magically have dropdown menus for folders in them yet everything else does not, I have about 20 shortcuts I use to Unreal tournament 04 editing(YT page of various crappy mod prototypes) Anyway its becoming annoying to open up 10 windows when i only need 2, I would really like to force the toolbars to go into dropdown mode other than open by default, how can I do this?I have found if I build folders and shortcuts I can have some dropdown menus but frankly...I want all folders and shortcut to folders to do this.Any idea how to do this - are there any utilities that will give me the dropdowns in the XP taskbar? Thanks for any help. Maybe take a screen shot of what you're talking about.
Scarecrow Man
It's called "Group Similar Taskbar buttons" in the Taskbar properties. You can try:start > run > regeditUnder:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]create an new REG_DWORD value named: TaskbarGroupSize and give it a value of 2.Here's an article on the tweak above: http://tech.monstersandcritics.com/feature...uttons_in_Vista
