avanda Posted March 21, 2008 Report Share Posted March 21, 2008 Hi all:I have a desktop which has my router is connected to and also my laptop which i was able to use wireless and also print. this was all set up for me by a friend 18 months ago but no longer lives local.This week my laptop hardrive crashed and i used the recovery disc to re-install windows.I have managed to re-connect the wireless network and can get online with no trouble.However i have tried many ways to use the printer from my laptop but to no avail.I have not changed any settings on the desktop as it was all fine before.Would i have to download anything? very grateful for any assistance here.
