Prompted to setup ActiveX

Hi,

Everytime, when I select Windows Update, I will be prompted to setup ActiveX by this URL. Any advice?

I cannot read the words on that page as it is not English, but I presume that it is only Microsoft trying to check if your Windows version is legitimate or not by running the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool.

This is the standard Microsoft Update page for your language. ActiveX is checking if you have the latest version of Microsoft Update. I think everything is perfectly OK.

But the problem is, I'm not able to avoid that prompt and do not have a way to set up ActiveX in that web page. Then I cannot even have Windows Update.

Sorry, I don't understand that sentence. Do you allow it (usually on top of the browser window), or not?

Can you give us a screenshot to show us what the problem is?

I have no way to set up ActiveX there! (I've sent you the screen shot of that by a mail)
