clkanski
I should be getting a Full Retail Copy of Ultimate from Microsoft for participating in their customer feedback program. How many times can you activate a retail copy of Vista? From time to time I like to rebuild and swap out parts of my computer, and I usually end up reinstalling Windows from scratch. With XP, I'd call them up, explain that I changed the mobo or hard drive and they'd allow me to reactivate. Is this a different under Vista? I recall reading that the rule was 1 copy/1 activation. But that was 2 years ago before Vista was even out. How does it actually work?
