haris_el Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 Hello guys, the problem:1. When i log on windows everything is ok.2. After some seconds, then everything dissapears on my screen and just the wallpaper remains. 3. So since i have docklets on the side of the screen i press for example "My documents", then everything comes up on the screen as normal, in 1 second (which means that they remained loaded), however also the picture below comes up in the middle of the screen...4. Then after some seconds again the same thing happens as 2. and 3. above... The fact is that my brother was surfing on the internet for some days, and various pop-ups were on the pc, thus i decided to clean it... I downloaded various well-known clean-up programs, and cleaned the pc. Then - this i thing is my mistake - i found some programs that started on start-up, and also found some .dll files that were loaded, that i could not find them in google. Thus i supposed that these were virus, so i deleted them.Then at the next restart, the problem above started....Any ideas guys? Any help would be extremely appreciated !!!Regards,Haris. If you don't, can I suggest that you urgently consider preparing one - and keep it up to date so that if anything like this happens again, or in case of drive failure, you have not lost your data. I didnt try one, as i thoguth that system restore just restores programs, not missing files...System Restore is different from Full System Backup?Thank you for the reply. System Restore only restores Windows files and settings, as they were when the Restore Point was taken.
