dmiller Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 I use 15 Dell notebook computers (XP) to teach a number of hands-on computer-related classes. They are taught off-line to avoid pop-ups, update alerts, etc. that confuse particpants. However - these notebooks seem to be constantly putting up alerts and reminders in the form of small balloons at the bottom right side of the desktop - extremely annoying. They announce "unused icons," "anti-virus protection turned off," etc. Would somone tell me if there is a simple way to turn these alerts OFF!
