Change network connections' duration

Hello.

I'm wondering if you know any way to change a network connetcion's duration. Actually it is a VPN connection. All I need is: to change the red marked duration.

Not really sure what you mean ?

That screen you posted just shows how long the network connection has actualy been active.

Do you mean how do you put a limit on how long a connection can be active ?

Sorry I was not clear before.

I give you an exemple:

If I connect to this network at 10 am, so the duration will show 2 hours when I check it at 12. I need it to show then more (f.e. 3-4 hours), as it is really is.

Sorry - I still do not understand.

Both of your screenshots look exactly the same to me ? Are they supposed to be different ?

Whenever you check it will show the total actual time that you have been connected. It does not measure the time since you last checked (if that is what you are trying to say)

Edit it. There is no way to "change" it unless you have actually been connected that long.

Of course, it would be easier to edit without a big red circle around it! :lol:

I am sorry again. I try to explain in another way.

The both pics are the same, the only difference is only that on the first one I did not mark with the red line. So just the second one is important.

What I would like to: I want to change the time, when I connected to the network. I want the window to show me more time, then I connected to the network (really). I thought it exists a log or an ini file, where I could change the exact time, when I connected to the network; and after the window shows the modified duration. I tried to look after in registry and in windows folders, also in forums, but I couldn't find an answer.

I hope now I was clear :D

I doubt there is any file that stores how long you have been connected. It is more likely a simple counter that counts 1 more each second and displays a total.

I highly doubt you're going to find anything that can modify this information.

On a side note, I see your connection is a VPN. Even if you could change what is displayed on your machine, the VPN log would show the actual time, not the modified time.

As you wrote above, it is a VPN. If I could just change the time displayed, could be enough. I don't want to change the log file.

The situation is that, I have big troubles with my boss and I am quitting the company. And I don't want to stay here all day long. He just comes, opens the connection windows and checks how long I am connected to the VPN. I want this window to show more time, than I really spent front of my pc.
