Dencandy Posted May 29, 2008 Report Share Posted May 29, 2008 You said that you get pop ups & other programs when you press Shift + S so this means you've got malware on your computer. So first you must get an anti-virus & anti-malware programmes and check that your firewall is on. Do you know how to do all these things? If not, come back here.If you know, update the ant-virus & anti-malware programmes and run deep scans with them. Follow any instructions they give to remove malware. If possible disconnect from the internet when running these scans.Next, reconnect to the internet & run an on-line scan over the internet. I suggest Trend Micro Housecall from here - it is a very reliable and secure service. The scan may take a long time if you have a lot of programmes or a slow connection. Follow whatever instructions they give to clean your computer of malware.Then you may have to re-set your short-cut keys, but first you must clean your computer or the problem will likely only return. But first I suggest you do the above things then come back to the forum to tell us the result.If you have already thoroughly cleaned you computer please let us know.
