CurlyWhirly Posted May 26, 2008 Report Share Posted May 26, 2008 I was wondering if some setting has changed on my PC as I can no longer select the option 'Always use the selected program to open this type of file' as it is now blanked out This means that every time I want to play a video file (taken from YouTube) I have to select the VLC player manually and it's rather annoying!Any ideas anyone?Thanks. I've noticed that your file is an avi file (as shown in your screenshot) but mine doesn't come up as any valid file.I used http://keepvid.com/ to download it from YouTube if that makes a difference?There is no file info when I go to properties - it just says 'File' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
