Dean Jamerson Posted June 18, 2008 Report Share Posted June 18, 2008 Hey,First of all, Last Friday i got home from school, (Yes im only 15...) to find that my User account was "Corrupted" or something. That doesn't matter to me, i have my files. Yet to find; i couldn't use Internet Explorer or Windows Live Messenger. I.E. Said to disable plug-ins or something to do with an MSN toolbar. Windows Live Messenger showed me slow typing and a Message with error code: 800401f3, Signing into messenger has failed. I Used Firefox to download MSN messenger 7.5, Which had the SAME error, i checked in tools > connection, and it said: "You are currently NOT connected to a .NET messenger service". I Also tried using these from what i found on the web:In Start > Run type these in hitting enter after each (Don't really do it unless you want to)regsvr32 Dssenh.dll /sregsvr32 Gpkcsp.dll /sregsvr32 Slbcsp.dll /sregsvr32 Sccbase.dll /sregsvr32 Softpub.dll /sregsvr32 Wintrust.dll /sregsvr32 Initpki.dll /sregsvr32 Rsaenh.dll /sregsvr32 Mssip32.dll /sregsvr32 Cryptdlg.dll /sregsvr32 Msxml3.dll /sThey all work except the last one. Ive tried renewing Msxml3, But that doesn't work, Everything that has worked for other people doesn't work for me.The Last replys with error: 80004005, And i tried using Regedt32.exe to make it so Administrators have permission to renew the register key.Anyone know why this doesn't work?Help will be really appreciated.Thanks. I Can't even use the installer, it says: Try Again later.But ive installed previous versions of MSN and they have the same problem.It might be something Blocking my .NET connection? I Looked in Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections and theres an MSN thing saying:MSNUnavailable - Device Missing.But ive seen this before, its never usually interfered. Mine showed a problem with Key Ports, which reinstalling fixed.Side note: I had blocked www.hotmail.com from being accessed. This is when my original problems started. That's happened to me before. Are you using any toolbars or plug-ins like the WMP plug-in that shows the music you listen to, or anything like that? If you do then you must have closed one of the two, or both without waiting for it to close properly. Like, end program or whatever with task manager, OR, turned off the pc while everything's still running (main power button on the tower)If that is what's happened, stop all the plug-ins from running, close everything and try again or uninstall and then install it again.But ive installed previous versions of MSN and they have the same problem.It might be something Blocking my .NET connection?
