Hi all, :)

We are using Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition as Domain Controller, Windows 2003 Standars Edition as ISA and Windows XP SP2 operating system in Clients.

We have 5 O.U. and I want to restrict users of 1 OU to access certain Websites, I have tried by applying GP on that OU but all the websites got blocked for all the users of all the 5 OU even for the users who are in Domain Admin group

Can you help me implimenting this without using any 3rd party utility.

I am new to syetem admin so please guide me in detail.

Thanks & Regards,

Sid

I blocked access to certain websites with our DNS server. Just create a fake entry for the site and point it at a fake address. You can even create a custom page in your ISS and have the DNS point to the fake page.

This will block access to anyone who uses this DNS server. You may want to run another DNS server along side it so your other users are not blocked.

Also, have a look at OpenDNS.
