DesC Posted June 25, 2008 Report Share Posted June 25, 2008 I run a dual boot system, 1 is Linux - no problem, the other in WinXP Prof - Internet issue. My modem shows constant activity to and fro the internet from the windows half of my system. The 'My Internet connection status' window shows data being Xfered both up and down.This has just recently shown up, I run Firefox. When I look at Tesk Manager there is nothing obvious running in the Processes Tab. Althoughit does show IE running, but when I turn it off I loose the Taskbar, hence I don't think that's the issue.
