PJS
For some unknown reason, Windows Defender disabled itself. I became aware of this when the Security Center warned me. So, I tried to turn it back on, but instead I get this error:Windows Defender encountered an error: 0x800705b4. This operation returned because the timeout period expired. Here is a list of a few things I did before it happened:1) Uninstalled AVG Free 8.0 2) Deleted a folder called 'inetpub' from 'C:\' because I disabled IIS a while back and did not think I needed the folder.3) Installed Windows Live OneCare 90-Day Trial.I recieved the warning during the installation of OneCare.I tried to download and install Windows Defender over this one, but I was not allowed, because it comes installed on Vista. Please help me fix Defender. :(

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Yes, that's the latest version for Vista. There must be a conflict with Windows Live OneCare; sorry I don't know about that.
