If it is corrupted how do I get another one? I don't have a Windows Vista CD, just the crappy recovery CD that I had to pay for.. >:(Anyways, I have Vista on the first partition, but I'm wondering if grub messed with Windows BCD...Any ideas?Thanks! bob leny Posted July 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 You mentioned grub - exactly what O/S's have you been installing/removing ?Thanks, for the reply!Well, I have Vista on my first partition, and Kubuntu on my second.....I installed Vista then, I installed Kubuntu.When I turn the computer on, I get the grub menu, and when I select Windows Vista from the grub menu, I get the above error. So, I am wondering if grub messed with Vistas BCD...P.S.Actually, It would be really cool if I could fix the Vista BCD so I can boot from grub...
