CurlyWhirly
I've recently upgraded to version 7.7.1.11 of iTunes and for the first time ever, I can't get my iTunes shortcut to work I usually copy the iTunes icon from the desktop to the section in my screenshot directly below (I don't know the actual name of the area highlighted in red)When I do what I have always done in the past i.e. copy the icon into that particular area, I get this error message when I click on it: Any ideas on how to get a working shortcut icon? Thanks. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
How about making your own shortcut? (From Windows Explorer, right-click drag-and-drop the original itunes.exe as a shortcut into that target area.)
CurlyWhirly
How about making your own shortcut? (From Windows Explorer, right-click drag-and-drop the original itunes.exe as a shortcut into that target area.)It worked but not as you said although your method gave me a clue, thanks In the past I either left-clicked (or right clicked) dragged-and-dropped and it worked, it used to say 'Shortcut to iTunes'However this method no longer works and I have to select the 'Copy Here' option In any case I'm happy as I now have all my favourites in the same place (whatever it's called) p.s. I've not seen that menu before as I used to use the above method in the past.
