mb300e
Hi.I searched for an answer but could not find one, hence the post here. :( I want to set the column width to 350 pixels for the "name" column for all my Windows Explorer windows. Where and how can I do this in one fell swoop? I am familiar with the Tools\Folder options, but that does not do it for me. I can set individual widths in open explorer windows by right clicking on the "name" column bar by typing 350 in the "choose detail" box, but that is a pain to have to do it for every window. I want to set them all by default to this width. Is there somewhere in the registry or elsewhere that I can do this? INI files were easy. Bigger or newer isn't always better. Thanks in advance for any help. :D

mb300e
Did you come across THIS in your search? :)I am familiar with all the methods described, but in my posting you will read that I want to set them all in one go. Not one at a time. Thanks anyway, I was hopeful there for a few seconds... :(

Scarecrow Man
What if you set one folder the way you like, then go to 'Apply to Folders' on the 'View' tab of the 'Folder Options' dialog.
