dnyal Posted August 22, 2008 Report Share Posted August 22, 2008 hi, everyone.i've installed comodo firewall pro in my pc running that windows version. when i rebooted my pc, everything was going great: desk, start menu, icons images, etc. but when i try to double click any icon on desk, a box come up saying something like "i can't enter this because the file name has changed or i don't have administrator privileges". the only one acount in my pc is mine, and i am the administrator. i tried going my pc in start menu, in that window i enter c: program files, and i try double-clicking the directs acces in software folders, but i got the same thing. i tried to turn off my pc, but it says i don't have permission for that. the only way i get my pc shut down is by going task administrator; i can do it from there but not from start menu. i'm going to prove some internet suggestions, like the RRT program that is supossed to bring me back my adm. privileges and restoring reg files. before doing that, i want to consult you.Please, help, i can't get to work.THANKs in advanced for any help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I use Comodo firewall, but I have never had any of the problems which you describe.Which site did your download come from? I wonder if you have downloaded a virus?Do you have anti virus protection?Perhaps you could try an online scan Housecall Trendmicro. Use the new version 6.6Let us know if it finds anything?
