Enkidu Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 After jostling in transport, my Microsoft Wireless 3000 keyboard works - but all keys now perform new functions. When I type "abcdegf", I get "4365- [". Keys in the top row (QWER...) perform other functions like deleting text, etc. I can find no way to "reset" the keys to their original functions. I tried to update the driver, but was told this was the most recent.Regional & Language options = Englich (US).My standard keyboard on my Dell D800 works as usual, as does the Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse that uses the same desktop receiver as the keyboard (they came as a set). Control Panel says the "device is working properly".I assume something within the keyoard has been altered (reset?) during transport. Should I uninstall then reinstall the driver?
