MacOSXrocksToo Posted September 21, 2008 Report Share Posted September 21, 2008 Hi, I have a major problem here, no matter what I do, I cannot get the wireless working on my mom's, friends, daughters Compaq Presario C500 laptop they gave me to fix (Running Windows Vista Home Basic). The wireless used to work and she used to go to star-bucks and connect to the internet, but now, it says wireless networks are in range, but when I go to connect to one, nothing shows up. I have made sure the adapter is enabled in BIOS, I have reinstalled all of the drivers, and have tried to repair the connection.Any Ideas?She needs the laptop back by next wednesday because she is going to college.
