Installing an app: it asks me about something strange

Hi,

during the intallation of an app called andlinux it ask this:

"Please create a shared folder and enter the requested information.

Name of the Windows file share: (here i have to write)"

So i go to "Shared documents" and create inside a folder, but when i go to install process and insert the name of that folder, it says "There is no share folder with the specified share name".

What's the problem? What i have to do exactly?

i read those instructions but for me are a little confuse...

I tried these two things:

- Creating at C:\ a new folder, for example C:\shared1.

- Creating at C: \Share Documents\ a new folder, for example C:\Share Documents\shared1

but no one of the worked...

Any advice?

When you are creating the shared document folder, where are you looking? I would think that the folder should be placed in Shared Documents which is found in My Computer. Is this what you are doing?

I would be tempted, at least initially, to work with the CoFS method.

Sorry, i said before

C: \Share Documents\ a new folder

I meant: My PC\Share Documents\a new folder

Solved: I belong to a local area network and i didn't have a user account, so i couldn't share folders...
