Chris Posted August 17, 2003 Report Share Posted August 17, 2003 OK, i've come across this little (20KB) IEFix.exe file that runs the following http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679When you click the file it will attempt to fix the problems described in the above article.The file can be found at http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm it's at the bottom, number 260 "Open New IE Window is Blank - Q281679". ( Direct link http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/IEFix.exe )Click, download and if you ever have the problems described in the above article run the file."If the problem continues, please reinstall Internet Explorer." For intructions on this http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378 If your having this problem right now then you cannot see the above links when you click them.So for the MS Article, copy this:http: //support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679Paste it into the address bar of the Internet Explorer and remove the space after http: // then hit enter and you should be able to see the article.The same for:http: //www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htmhttp: //www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/IEFix.exe (to download the file)To reinstall IE http: //support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
