Hb_Kai Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 Everytime I first start the laptop I can listen to music but a couple hours or maybe even half an hour some times each time I try to listen to music either on the media player or online it says I can't use the speakers.When I try to click the speaker icon in the corner it saysThere are no active mixers available. To install mixer devices, go to Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Hardware.This program will now close.I've tried looking for "Printers and Other Hardware" but XP doesn't have that I don't think.I've gone into the hardware options and it says the hardware is working fine also.Anyone know what else it could be?
