Peiman Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 Hi!I tried to install AutoCAD 2009 which required Direct3D 9. Despite having DX 10 installed on my laptop, it showed the message you have first install Direct3d 9. I've tried both the DX 9.0 installer provided in the CAD CD and what I'd downloaded from Microsoft, but none of them were installed showing the message that the component are ready to use just after clicking install button which, I concluded, was because having a later version (10) installed. However the CAD installer keeps on showing you need to install Direct3D 9.How can I install DX 9? Can I uninstall DX10 the install DX 9 and then reinstall DX 10?
