Gary64
Hello folks,I wonder if anyone could help me, please. Some time ago, I was clearing my Junk Mail folder and up popped the dialogue asking to send a receipt for a couple of spammers. In my haste, I pressed "yes to all" rather than "no to all". Ever since then, whenever I press 'send/receive all' or 'send all', "Sending message 1 of 2" or "Sending message 1 of 1" comes up in the bottom right, just above the connection icon, even when there is nothing in the Outbox. The "send/receive error" then flags up.I am also having trouble with real email sticking in my Outbox.Any help appreciatedMany thanksGary
Hb_Kai
Is there an error code? Usually looks something like "0084d55c3" or whatever. And what software are you using, outlook express?Have you installed a firewall lately or changed anything similar to that? Could even be the monitor programs that monitor the programs on your PC.Also, you might not have the server settings set up properly anymore which could have came from an error with the program, spyware/malware, a few other things. Are you sure they are still set up properly? Problem remains if I switch off Norton, firewalls etc. I had a Freeserve account which I have changed the settings to: pop.orangehome.co.uk and smtp.orangehome.co.uk.The same problems happen on OE and Mozilla Thunderbird. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
In that case, it means your computer can find the servers, but Outlook is unable to connect / login. Two things to trydelete, then recreate your Outlook profilecheck your TCP/IP (click here)If that doesn't resolve the issue, then I recommend that you contact your ISP's Support desk.
