Hi,

My Windows gets automatically shutdown when left idle for some time... What I usually do during night is just schedule some downloads, turn off the monitor only... This was working for many months until past week. Lately my windows gets automatically shutdown when left idle... Don't the exact amount of time the system was on. But telling from the amount downloaded it was about an hour or even less only. This problem is occurring everyday. So I decided to see it out at day. I kept the system idle with only the monitor off for about an hour or so. When i came back after an hour the system was off... I checked the power options of the system. It was set to always on... I googled for this intriguing problem but there was not support...

Please guide me from here...

Thanks in advance,

AShok...

The first thing that comes to mind is overheating, so when was the last time you cleaned out the insides of the computer, are the fans working. The other thing is the PSU or your ram may be going wrong, or other hardware problems, the easiest to check and I believe the most common are the two I mentioned
