Hb_Kai
If you're struggling to find a decent malicious software scanner/remover tool Windows has one itself.I only know about it being on XP though.(NOTE: Not a replacement for virus removal tools/scanners)It is located in the system32 folder and if you just type "MRT" on your keyboard it should go to the folder/.exe file. It's called "Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool" but the file in S32 is called "MRT"
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
MRT is updated every month, and installed with the "Update Tuesday" updates. Windows Update / Microsoft Update / Automatic Update all will run the MRT after the new version is installed. Unless an infection is suspected, there is no need to run MRT manually. Hb_Kai
Mostly...It searches through your computer for worms like the W32.Bropia's and them things. The most annoying registry worms that sign you in and out of MSN, launches a flock of your web browsers without warning...Not for your everyday virus.
