Hb_Kai
Trend Micro are saying that now you can purchase their Internet Security software for free but you have to sign up to some affiliates like LoveFilm, TrendMicro will contact and ask for confirmation you have a membership with them, after that's gone through successfully they will send you a link to download the software. Is that right? Well anyway, I was looking through the TrialPay offers and most of them only cost £1.99 or lower, but LoveFilm costs £9.99 (Buy for one month, get second free)If anyone's interested...Don't know if this is some advertisement scam they're trying with their customers but since the website had been recommended to me by users off this forum, some of you might be interested.I don't know if you have to buy something from one of the TrialPay offers, but I suppose you could just cancel it after you've got what you want... Dencandy
Please check this Hb Kai because I just checked on the Trend Micro webset & can see no mention of this offer. When you see offers like this it's always best to check with the official website as well, especially when payment is involved or giving an e-mail address. Also you can use McAfee SiteAvisor or Web of Trust in your browser to make sure it is the official site.

Dencandy
Yes, Housecall is the name Trend Micro give to their on-line scanner. But of course anyone could use the name Housecall and pretend that they're Trend Micro. That's why we need sevices like SiteAdvisor, Web of Trust, MS Anti Phishing, etc to double-check. An on-line scanner opens up your computer to an external site to down-load a program that gives them potential to access everything on your computer. So it's like leaving your front door wide open while you're having a nap. It would be a lovely world if we could do that, but we can't.
