tjwoosta
so when i bought my laptop it came preinstalled with windows vistathe laptop only has 1GB ram (which is like the bare minimum for vista) so it runs extreamly slow if i do any multitaskingi didn't have any extra money just laying around to go and spend on a copy of XP so i installed Ubuntu Linux instead (it runs perfect with 1GB ram, infact it doesnt even have to use any swap space at all with 1gb ram)now i have been using linux for about 1 year now , and i love it, but i have decided it would be nice to have a copy of windows around just incase i need some software or something that requires windowsand since i already have a copy of vista that came with the laptop i have decided that i want to install vista again (as a dual-boot this time)so basically my question is...is it legal to reinstall vista?how many times can i reinstall vista without needing to buy a new copy? AlanHo
You can reinstall Vista on the same computer OK. Not on another computer though.
