The thought of a "Browser-based P2P" seems quite unsafe...

I don't think I would trust it at all, but then again I could be wrong.

The user have to allow file requests from other computers. LittleShoot protects shared files with an unique SHA-1 hash. Security issues and computer protection methods are very well detailed in a comprehensive documentation of the service.

But to every security measure there's a weakness.

They thought there was no possible way of getting the same md5 hash of two different files but some team of people still done it. :D

It's just up to the hackers to exploit its weaknesses, an newer version comes out, that gets exploited, effectively hackers are a warning that nearly nothing is secure enough to rely on apart from your own mind which still in turn has weaknesses...
