I have had a look but cant find the problem files - it opens where they are but I am not up to doing the job It also directs you to vendor of problem - one of these is Java JRE 1.5x/5x but when it directs me to java site there are many and I am lost here to know which is one I need.I have also done a screen shot - (courtesy of Irene) and hope it works.Edit didnt upload screen shot sorry.Adobe Flash Player 9X active X controljava Web start 5.xMicrosoft XML core services(MSXML)6.xAbove 3 need work but I cant find Adobe FP9 and only have latest 10 installed. Weird eh?Jave explained aboveMicrosoft sent me to update and nothing there needed it said.Edit - after exiting program It said that the end of life program I couldnt find had been removed - on the icon. Also chech the Technical Info in secunia and if any of the programs are in recovery partitions or the like, you can ignore them. About the jave just uninstall the 5.x from the Add or Remove programs and then go to Java.com and download the new one (6 update 10 i think?) ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 You may have an old OCX file from Flash 9 still residing in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\Macromed\Flash (Flash9f.ocx?); just delete it.Regarding Java RTE; uninstall everything 5.x and 1.5.x.
