Ralph659 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 Hello,Can someone please look at the 2 minidumps in attachment?I have put together a new computer with Vista Ultimate and during the first day my system has crashed already 2 times...No problem for several hours, then a crash, no problem again for several hours and then a second crash.I get a bluescreen that I'm not able to read because it goes too fast and my computer just reboots.Any feedback is very much appreciated.Please don't just give me the file that caused the problem but also (if possible), give me an explanation or solution.Thanks a lot in advance!Ralphminidumps.zip Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ralph659 Posted December 6, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 Ok, thanks.I have disabled the automatic restart and will post the error message when I get it.The computer hasn't crashed for several hours now.Can someone maybe decipher the minidumps in the meantime and tell me what has been the culprit?Today I have time to work on that computer and if necessary do a clean reinstall. Today I have time to work on this problem, tomorrow I will be out of town and on Monday that computer will be used by a new employee so I hope to have all this solved today.If I get a bluescreen, I will post it of course here.Thanks a lot in advance! The causes are many, but include heat, overtaxed power supply units, a real memory failure, an outdate motherboard BIOS (new motherboards don't come with latest BIOS!), incorrect IDE cables, incorrect IDE drive jumpers.
