Speed_Demon
Hi Folks,When using GPMC and creating a Wireless Policy, I am getting some strange behaviour and was wondering if it is normal. When creating a Preferred Network using anything other than WEP as the Data Encryption method, nothing shows up in the Settings tab of the GPMC under Preferred Networks. However, when I change it to WEP, it does show up in the Settings tab of the GPMC under Preferred Networks. So WEP shows and TKIP and AES do not when selected as the Data Encryption method. What's up with that? Is that normal?
Hb_Kai
Are they compatible with each other and you, and the other connections?
Speed_Demon
I would think that should be irrelavant. You can only select one at a time and if the client is not compatible it just won't connect on the client end. This stage is just setting up the preferred network. If I create multiple networks they all show as long as I select WEP as the data encryption method. Changing to any of the networks to anything other than WEP encryption causes them to all disappear. Weird.
