dalewestae
I have a HP R3140us and the hard died so I ordered a new one and some ramm to go along with it. My question is once I have downloaded the drivers from the hp website.... http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...;product=408400 Do I need to burn them on a cd in any specific order? How about connecting an usb drive. I guess I need some help I've never done a new hard drive without the original install driver disk from manufacturer.Any tips and tricks that you smarties have learned over the years that might save me a headache would be appreciated!!!thanks allDale. Alan2273
There should be no need to burn them in any order, all you have to do is point the installer to the medium that contains the drivers.

Boris
Install XP first and the drivers after XP has finished.
