Omego2K Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 Hi, I would like to change the control panel's "User Accounts" shortcut to point to the hidden one that you get by opening "Control userpasswords2" from the run menu. Typing control userpasswords2 in Run... gives the User Accounts Dialog Box with many more advanced options. Or at least they do on my machine. Dencandy Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 I have XP Pro on this computer but the 2 menus are quite different. I think perhaps there's a snap-in on Pro that has to be initialised by an Administrator to make the more powerful options available from the CP item. Dencandy Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 Further to the above, it seems the User Account dialog box appears instead of the usual Contol Panel item if your computer is part of a domain and you log on as an administator.
