Annihilator Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 So I just bought a new laptop, wasn't paying attention to the fact that it's 64 bit, just liked that it was only a little more expensive for almost twice the goods. Now I can't install an important program.I know most programs work in x64 pretty easily now, but this program (called Hondata sManager) has a very small user base, and I'm having problems finding out how to make it work. The message reads:"Unable to execute file: C:\Program Files (x86)\SManager\SManager.exe CreateProcess failed; code 5. I would first start there trying to get support.I don't have a 64-bit system, so I can't really help you. Hb_Kai Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 Maybe you just need to download the right install.exe for your 64bit machine if they have one available, or is the software you tried to install out-of-date. Katy Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 Just checked the software on their site and it's running on both x32 and x64 systems. Make sure you are running the app under an Adminstrator account (XP), or in elevated mode (Vista). This software tries to access external hardware and you might run into trouble if don't have enough rights, hence the "Access denied" error.
