Dencandy Posted February 2, 2009 Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 If they are in quarantine then they should not be able to harm your computer any more Unless they have come back again onto your computer I wouldn't worry about them. However, with most anti-virus programs if you open up Quarantine and right click on the item you should get an option to permanently delete it.When you say backItems do you mean Quarantine? By the way I think NAV is too expensive try AVG or kapersky insteadPersonally, regarding NAV I found it to be far too intrusive and a resource hog. I am quite happy to pay for the best however, and to this end I use Nod 32 security suite. Having said that, Norton can be an absolute swine to uninstall cleanly, and even with the Symantec removal tools, there are always remnants of it left on the computer.
