Dencandy Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 If you can't do System Restore (I take it you have tried other restore points) and you don't have an XP installation disk, and you've scanned with anti-malware utilities and found nothing, I think you're stuck. Unless someone else has other ideas, my advice is to look in computer magazines for a genuine XP installation disk before they stop being sold. Then you can start with XP from scratch.
