cymerc Posted February 17, 2009 Report Share Posted February 17, 2009 I'm not sure what is going on, but I'd like to know if it's a software issue or hardware (hoping it's Windows 7) but as you can see from the screen shot, in the task manager it says that my CPU load is at 81% but there is no process that is taking over 4 percent, the rest is idle. I would like to know someone's opinion on if I should be worried enough to RMA the CPU and or Mobo.System specs:AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0Ghz4GB crucial RAM 1066 (PC2 8500) 2x 2GBHIS Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5ASUS M3N72-DANY help would be appreciated. cymerc Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 Well, I installed AVG Free and did a full system scan, and It found a couple things, but it's still doing it. I should probably add, that it only happens after the computer has been on for a while, like maybe an hour or two or so. When it first boots up, it's just fine.I'm probably going to install Vista x64 to see if that stops the problem. I'll keep you informed.
