schmitt Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 While the win is booting(after the loading screen) the screen turns black for like 2min until the welcome screen appears.How can i find out which driver or application that is causing this delay?Thanks. Dencandy Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 schmitt, there's a small utility originally from Microsoft called BootVis which you can use to examine what happens during the Windows boot. You can also use it to optimize the boot process.You can download it from Softpedia HERE and read how to use it from TechRepublic THERE. Follow those instructions carefully.Although BootVis is a Microsoft utility it is no longer recommended or supported by them. I have used it for years and have never had any problems with it.
