lafleur1977
Hi,I am having trouble with a BSOD on my windows xp laptop, acer, 2ghz duo core2 cpu, 2GB ram. My friend also has a similar laptop running vista with the same problem.Once a day, over the last week or so, it randomly shows a bsod when i'm working, quickly goes off and restarts. I've done a disc scan with no errors, I clean the registry regularly with ccleaner. I've not installed any new hardware, and not installed any new software recently either. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Without the error number from the BSOD, and possibly the module name, nobody in the world will be able to give you any advice.
Dencandy
Also, do you know how to access Event Viewer in Vista? If you look there you should find a time dated record of each crash. Right click on that & you might find an indication of the cause of the crash - something like "XXX failed to start" or whatever.Have you tried System Restore to a time before the problem started?
